Catholic Healthcare’s exciting new precinct will provide 350+ beds across high and low care facilities in Sydney’s inner west.

APG provided Project Management Services to the new aged care facilities and new Independent Living Units (ILU’s) communities from feasibility to concept design phase and prepared feasibilities, programs, staging and relocation plans for the refurbishment of heritage facilities.

APG was responsible for finalising the Site Compatibility Certificate (SCC) through to preparing a DA on a site with no planning controls (special uses zone) and challenging site and heritage constraints. APG is working to achieve the client’s operational benchmarks for the Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) and density requirements for the (ILU’s) above, in a location where the Local Government Area is generally opposed to large scale developments.

The project will comprise the staged demolition of existing buildings and adaptive reuse of others and aims to deliver a new 160 bed RACF and 170 ILU’s supported by state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure.
