ENTRY LEVEL GRADUATE PROJECT MANAGER – SYDNEY CBD

Artazan Property Group (APG) is seeking an entry level project manager with tertiary qualifications, to join our Sydney CBD based team. This is a great opportunity to further your career in client-side project management within a supportive and dynamic environment. This role is designed to challenge your understanding of the design and construction industry and help you gain skills to develop your career as a project manager. Working with APG will provide project experience across various sectors to encourage the expansion of your knowledge of project delivery and equip you with the necessary skills to become a future leader in the construction industry.

Ideally you:

  • Have recently graduated, with a tertiary degree in Project Management or alternative degree relevant to the property and construction and industry
  • Some work experience with a head contractor would be advantageous
  • Are a team player, willing to provide support across a number of projects for a variety of project leads
  • Have strong communication and general IT skills with a focus on MS Word & Excel
  • Are well presented with a positive attitude and enjoy developing meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Take pride in the standard and timing to which you complete given tasks
  • Have the ability to take direction and the initiative to proactively assist the project team

Key Responsibilities:

  • General project administration under the guidance of the project managers, including but not limited to:
    • Managing the upkeep of project cost plans and variation registers
    • Assisting in the engagement of consultants through populating, compiling and issuing consultancy agreements
    • Certification of invoices
    • Project document filing
    • Attendance and minute taking at design / construction meetings
    • Contract administration
  • Add value to projects and make a positive impact on their delivery through the application and development of your skills and knowledge gained through university study & on site experience
  • Professionally represent the APG brand
  • Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Commit to organisational and individual activities that deliver high levels of service quality, productivity, innovation, and teamwork
  • Commit to building great relationships with all stakeholders and understanding the contributing factors that deliver client satisfaction and repeat business
