ISPT
295 Queen Street, originally constructed between 1900-1904 as the former Records Office, is a significant heritage building acquired by ISPT in 2018. Leased to Victoria University (VU), it is being developed as part of VU’s Law Campus within Melbourne’s world-class educational precinct, alongside the 29-level VU City Tower in the CBD. To preserve its heritage and functionality, the asset is undergoing a comprehensive restoration project addressing facade deterioration, roof integrity, and external fence repairs.
The project has progressed through a detailed Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase, incorporating additional consultant inputs, hydraulic investigations, and testing of the current structural strength. With these factors now addressed, the design is nearing completion, and construction is set to commence in the coming months. APG is currently engaged in overseeing all design stages, preparing for procurement, and planning for the construction phase. Our focus is on ensuring integrated coordination among stakeholders and delivering a restoration that meets heritage, compliance, and functional requirements.
